What Is It?

 

Quite simply, it is a Christian Nationalist plan to turn the United States into a fascist state. It is a plan specifically designed for Trump to be enacted in the first 180 of office should he win reelection.

Trump enacted 66% of Heritage Foundation policy recommendations when he took office in 2017. This detailed plan hopes Trump will give Trump a clear and detailed roadmap to quickly pursue.

100 conservative groups and think tanks formed a coalition with the Heritage Foundation to make this document. These are many of the same groups behind Christian nationalism.

 

  • Greatly expands presidential powers
  • Raises the cost of prescription drugs
  • Restricts access to contraception
  • Slashes education funding and eliminates the Department of Education
  • Ends civil rights protections
  • Fire 50,000 federal employees and replace them with conservative partisan loyalists
  • Diminishes environmental protections on things such as drinking water
  • Rescinds all climate polciies
  • The mass deportation of millions of undocumented immigrants
  • Push for a huge trade war with China

What is The Heritage Foundation?

Let’s talk about the Heritage Foundation. The group was started during the Nixon Administration in 1973 by Joseph Coors, Edwin Feulner and Paul Weyrich. They wanted a conservative think tank to advance conservatives principles and policies. The group gained tremendous power in 1981 when it publihsed the “Mandate for Leadership” which was used by the Reagan Administration for policy implementation.

Paul Weyrich also founded the Moral Majority with the Reverand Jerry Falwell. This political movement was founded because the Internal Revenue Service rescinded the tax-exempt status of Bob Jones University because of racial discrimination. He was the first president of the Heritage Foundation

  • Russ Vought (former Trump Office of Management and Budget Director)
  • Christopher Miller (former Trump acting Secretary of Defense)
  • Ben Carson (former Trump Secretary of Housing & Urban Development)
  • Rick Dearborn (former Trump Deputy Chief of Staff)
  • Gene Hamilton (former Trump Justice Department senior counsel)

CNN has approximately 240 individuals with ties to Trump and Project 2025.

Busted!

Russell Vought, a member of the Trump administration and a co-author of Project 2025 discusses the plan on hidden camera.

He states:

  • “(Trump) is very supportive of what we do.”
  • Brags about how close he is to Trump.
  • He admits his love of Christian Nationalism and states the U.S. should be a Christian nation. 
  • “I expect to hear ten more times from the rally the President distancing himself from the left’s boogeyman of Project 2025.
  • He discusses creating “shadow” groups within the government. 

Vought is reportedly under consideration for the White House Chief of Staff position should Trump win in November. 

 

In April of 2022, Trump attended a Heritage Foundation dinner in Washington D.C. and spoke about the group:

  • “This is a great group and they are going to lay the groundwork in detailed plans for exactly what our movement will do.”

The Heritage Foundation assisted Donald Trump during his first administration.
